Plumbing students at a local college have been bought up-to-date with the latest showering solutions and industry issues thanks to the support of Nuneaton based shower manufacturer, Triton Showers.

Triton Showers, the leading manufacturer of electric and mixer showers in the UK, has visited Level Three City and Guilds plumbing students at Warwickshire College to give a series of informative guest lectures and supplied products for the college’s training room.

Steve Saunders, senior technical manager at Triton Showers, met with 16 – 18 year old students on the course to give them an insight into the latest innovations that will make installations quicker, easier and hassle-free when they start to work for themselves.

To enable the students to practice their new found techniques, the leading shower manufacturer supplied the plumbing department with a range of Triton’s latest showers including the Dove and Dart mixer showers, as well as the new T80Z electric shower, which offers a fast, problem-solving retro-fit option – making it the perfect product for installers to keep in their van when they complete their course.

Steve Saunders said: “As the plumbing industry is so fast moving, it’s invaluable for students who are just starting out in their career to keep their finger on the pulse. Through guest lecture sessions and product demonstrations like these we can set newly qualified plumbers on the right track, and help them to maintain high standards throughout their careers.

We also discussed industry legislation and the various training courses available from Triton, which the whole group seemed keen to learn more about.”
