Dear Sir/Madam,

Further to my letter of 31st ultimo and your telephone call I wish to inform you that your representative travelled from Chester in appalling weather conditions and found the answer to to the problem in seconds. This together with his personality was a credit to your company.

The reason the shower failed to give maximum heat was because the handle had been put on up-side down, so when I thought it was on maximum temperature of '10' it was in fact on '5'. A slip up by the installer no doubt, but I feel that it would help if the handles had arrows pointing towards the heat markings.

The other dial is pathetic, one needs a magnifying glass to read the ridiculously small print when there is more than ample room for 'hot' and 'cold' to be at least four times larger, and positioned horizontally not vertical. The users also have to be able to put their heads at left and right angles to stand any chance of reading same. If you are small you have no chance. Elderly visitors don't tend to carry magnifying glasses in their bathroom toilet bag.

P.S. Thankyou for your help, you are very kind.

Yours faithfully,
